Where can I park?
Showbox at the Market and Showbox SoDo do NOT have public parking available. There are several pay lots near each venue (and street parking, if you're lucky!).

How do I submit a demo?
You can drop one by Monday through Friday, 11am to 6pm at the Showbox at the Market box office. Please do not ask to see a booker; you will be contacted if there is an appropriate opening. If you'd like to mail one, send it to:

How can I get my band to open for "--" on the mainstage?
Again, drop off or mail us a demo. Normally, we're looking for already established local bands with significant draw to perform as an opener in the showroom. However, a Green Room or SoDo Lounge show is a great place to start! If you can prove yourself there, you have a much better shot a main-stage gig someday.

Are you hiring?
The answer to this question is always changing. You can drop off a resume at Showbox at the Market between 11am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. Interviews and meetings with management are by appointment only.

What is your photo policy?
Our standard photo policy is point-and-shoot and non-professional cameras only. Typically, no pro rigs or audio/video devices are allowed. However, we always defer to the band's policy on cameras and audio/video devices, which means these restrictions may be lifted or strengthened (i.e. no cameras allowed in any form!). We do not know the photo policy for a specific show until the day of the event.

I lost my ID/Credit card. What do I do now?
You can obtain a left-behind or lost credit card/ID from Showbox at the Market or the Green Room at the Showbox at the Market Box Office, open Monday through Friday, 11am to 6pm. To obtain and ID lost at Showbox SoDo or the Sodo Lounge, email sodo@showboxonline.com to arrange for pick-up. Remember to bring valid identification so we can release the card to you. We cannot release ID's or credit cards to your friends, spouses, or family members. If you left an open tab at the bar, we automatically add 20% gratuity.

They took my ID - and I swear it was real! What do I do?
The Showbox is required by the Washington State Liquor Control Board to take IDs that are believed to be fake or in the wrong person's hands. After an illegal ID has been confiscated, it will not be returned. If your ID was taken, but it ACTUALLY WAS YOU (!!!), then you should get an ID that accurately matches your appearance and/or signature.

Why aren't all your shows all ages??? What gives?!
Due to government restrictions on all-ages crowds and serving alcohol, the insurance and security costs of producing an all-ages event are extremely high. We love to do all ages shows, and we do them when applicable, but unfortunately we'd never survive if every show was all ages.

Is there seating? What does the seat number on my ticket mean?
We are a general-admission venue. In almost all cases, the main floor is standing room only. There is seating in the bar area, and it's first come, first serve.

I have a disability and need a table or seat for an upcoming show. What do I do?
We are fully equipped to serve disabled patrons. We are ADA approved, and there are ramps throughout both venues. If you would like special accommodations for an event, please come to the venue at least half an hour before doors open. Alert a security guard at the front door that you'll need accommodations, and they'll let you in early to grab a table before the doors open!

Can I get a poster?
The posters for the CURRENT SHOW ONLY can be taken off the walls after the show has begun. Before then, posters are the property of the venue.

How do I get my tickets that are held at "will call" for Showbox at the Market shows?
For all Ticketmaster shows at Showbox at the Market, will call tickets are available for pick-up at the Showbox at the Market Box Office (open Monday through Friday, 11am to 6pm) 72 hours after placing your order. To pick up your tickets, bring your confirmation, valid photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. The person who ordered tickets must be present with the entire group in order to pick up tickets at will call. Also, please note that if you pick up your tickets after doors open, hard tickets may not be available.

How do I get my tickets that are held at "will call" for Showbox SoDo shows?
For all Ticketmaster shows at Showbox SoDo, will call tickets are available for pick-up at the Showbox at the Market Box Office (open Monday through Friday, 11am to 6pm) 72 hours after placing your order. To pick up your tickets, bring your confirmation, valid photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Showbox SoDo will call ticket pickup at Showbox at the Market will only be available until 4pm on the day of the show. At 4:30pm, the will call ticket window will open up at Showbox SoDo, and this will be the only place to obtain your will call tickets.

If I purchase a ticket at the Showbox at the Market Box Office, are service fees added?
There is a $2.00 service charge per ticket added at the Showbox at the Market Box Office. Tickets purchased night-of-show at the door do not have a service charge.

What CAN'T I bring into the venue?
* Backpacks/Large Bags (no larger than 16"x16"x 8")
* Food or Beverages
* Audio and Video Recorders (except for very specific shows)
* Professional cameras (except for very specific shows)
* Permanent markers or paint
* Weapons, chains, pocket knives and Leatherman-style or Swiss Army-style tools, spikes, spiked or studded belts, or objects security think could possibly be used as a weapon.

Can I buy a backstage pass?
No, we do not have access to backstage passes. These passes are very limited and are provided by radio stations, fan clubs or artist management. They are never for sale!

Are children admitted free?
Children 2 and under are admitted free with a paid adult ticket. This applies to All Ages shows only. No children will be allowed to 21+ events.

What's the fastest way to get in the door for a show?
If you're over 21, we welcome patrons in first who have dinner and drinks in the Green Room (our lounge space at Showbox at the Market), or the Showbox SoDo Lounge, prior to a show. The Green Room opens at 5pm; the Showbox SoDo Lounge opens at 4:30pm. Lines are not allowed to form in these lounges before the show. If you're under 21, we apologize for leaving you out in the cold/rain/blistering heat. But you won't be underage forever, we promise.

The show was canceled, can I get a refund?
Ticket refunds are available at point of purchase. The box office can ONLY refund tickets that were actually purchased there.
